Hey everyone,     Nothing much has changed here since I last wrote to you. So idk what to tell you guys haha     We were blessed with a baptism. We were able to baptize Naomi, Jessie, and Denice. I was a little worried about Denice because whenever we would try and study with her she would get really shy and have a hard time even speaking. But she passed the interview with flying colors!!      After the baptism it started to rain and it did not stop all day. And it rained so hard and so fast that before I even knew it I was walking in water that was only a couple of inches from coming inside my boots! The Liberians have a saying for big rain storms. They call them "All day rain." And I know for a fact now that it can rain all day without stopping.     We had zone conference and it was sooooo good. President Thomas talked about conversion to the Savior. He read Mormon 9:20. In order for us to be truly converted to the Savior we need to "Believ...

Hey everyone,     Sorry it's been almost a month since I've sent an email to ya. But the last few weeks have been so busy and at the same time so amazing!!      We've been blessed with a couple of baptisms. We baptized Christine, jamesetta, and Emmanuel. Then last week we finally were able to baptize the Smith family!! It was a miracle to say the least. In Liberia the people love to follow the traditional practices of marriage. So before someone can be married legally, they first need to be married traditionally. So Martha Smith called and told her family and said that she wanted to be married to Melvin but they wouldn't let her if they didn't do the traditional marriage first. And it seems like an easy thing to do but traditional marriages are no small thingooo, the groom has to pay the family tons of money and buy them all kinds of stuff and it's very expensive. Brother Melvin was not in a position to do that so we were praying a miracle would be performed!! T...
