Weekly Email

Hi guys,     Sorry it's been a while since I've written an email because our monthly data got destroyed by general conference. So we've had to be careful with how much data we're using.      Anyway, the past few weeks have been good. Me and Elder Peterson really get along well so being alone in Greenville isn't too bad! Also Elder Peterson is a farmer so we have lots of stuff in common! As far as the work is concerned things are going great. We have 2 people on date and we're hoping to get a 3rd this week! The members really helped us out yesterday by bringing 3 new friends!!      On Saturday we were finally able to help our little branch put together an activity. Our young men and young women decided they wanted to do bible quizzing.  And I've never heard of bible quizzing but it was actually really fun to watch. They got two teams and then the 2nd counselor asked questions from specific chapters in the bible and book of Mormon and they had ...

Baptism And Transfers

Hey everyone,     Today is transfers and that is always an exciting time! Sadly my Companion Elder Jensen left me this morning. The mission President, APS, and other missionaries from around the SouthEast came through on their way back to Monrovia. It felt so good to see them. It's been 3 months since I've seen another missionary!! My new companion is Elder Peterson and he is from Idaho!      We had a baptism on Saturday and it was fantastic!! We baptized 5 people. And one of them was my good buddy Paul Kennedy!! We were also blessed to baptize a man named Otis and his wife decontee! Otis had been investigating the church for a whole year and he was finally able to be baptized with his wife!! What a wonderful experience.     I'm grateful for the past two transfers that I have had with Elder Jensen. We had a lot of fun and we became great friends. I will miss him and it will be difficult to move on. But the Lord doesn't like to keep us in our comfort zo...
