Weekly Email

Hi guys,

 

 

Sorry it's been a while since I've written an email because our monthly data got destroyed by general conference. So we've had to be careful with how much data we're using. 

 

 

Anyway, the past few weeks have been good. Me and Elder Peterson really get along well so being alone in Greenville isn't too bad! Also Elder Peterson is a farmer so we have lots of stuff in common! As far as the work is concerned things are going great. We have 2 people on date and we're hoping to get a 3rd this week! The members really helped us out yesterday by bringing 3 new friends!! 

 

 

On Saturday we were finally able to help our little branch put together an activity. Our young men and young women decided they wanted to do bible quizzing.  And I've never heard of bible quizzing but it was actually really fun to watch. They got two teams and then the 2nd counselor asked questions from specific chapters in the bible and book of Mormon and they had to smack their table and answer in less than 5 seconds. It was a lot of fun! It helped me remember that the gospel and church are meant to be fun. Yes we need to be serious about the gospel but we should also have fun because God sent us here to enjoy life.
