Hey everyone,

Nothing much has changed here since I last wrote to you. So idk what to tell you guys haha

We were blessed with a baptism. We were able to baptize Naomi, Jessie, and Denice. I was a little worried about Denice because whenever we would try and study with her she would get really shy and have a hard time even speaking. But she passed the interview with flying colors!!

After the baptism it started to rain and it did not stop all day. And it rained so hard and so fast that before I even knew it I was walking in water that was only a couple of inches from coming inside my boots! The Liberians have a saying for big rain storms. They call them "All day rain." And I know for a fact now that it can rain all day without stopping.

We had zone conference and it was sooooo good. President Thomas talked about conversion to the Savior. He read Mormon 9:20. In order for us to be truly converted to the Savior we need to "Believe in God the Father, his son Jesus Christ and in the Restoration of the Gospel." Next we must "Stay in the right way" make covenants and repent daily so that we can keep our promises. And last we have to "trust in God." In other words stay faithful in keeping the commandments and serving the Lord in any way that you are asked. It was very spiritual. I'm grateful for the Thomas's. They are amazing!!

I'm also grateful for a Loving Heavenly Father who gives revelation to his children. I've learned many wonderful things recently in my personal study that have changed the way I see my personal relationship with the Lord. I know that we are God's children and that he is merciful, loving, and most importantly PATIENT. So we in return need to be patient with ourselves and not demand things that are unreasonable. I'll probably butcher this quote but President Nelson once said, "perfection does not come in this life, but in the next."

I love and miss you guys! Hope all is well!
