Last 5 Weeks

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to send a quick little update and let you know whats going on in Liberia.

I got a new companion and he is also my LAST companion. How crazy is that??? His name is Elder Sam and he's from Nigeria. I've only got 5 more weeks to go and its really starting to hit home that I will soon be leaving LIB. Im not quite sure how i feel about it but i guess I'll just continue to do my best till the end.

As I've been pondering over my time as a missionary I have been able to record a few of the important truths that the Lord has taught me. And i just wanted to share one of them with you. And it is that EACH ONE OF US IS A BELOVED SON OR DAUGHTER OF A LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER!! I grew up my whole life hearing that but i never understood it or the power that accompanies it. When i first got to Liberia quickly realized that i wasnt strong enough or tough enough to do it on my own so i had to learn how to trust in the Lord and rely on His strength. As I came to understand my true identity and my relationship to God it gave me strength beyond my own. 

I know that as each of you remeber your identity and focus on the Lord that you will have power to overcome any challenge or trial. I testify that God loves us and wants us to be happy and the only way we can do that is by trusting in Him and following His Son.
