Hey guys!

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying summer!! In liberia the rainy season is here so all day we walk with umbrellas and rain boots! 

This past week was a solid one. We did a lot of teaching and we have 3 friends who are preparing for baptism on the 8th of July! We have Oretha who lives with one of the families in our ward. We have Ol ma Betty and she started coming to church because her son who lives in Ghana said she needs to start coming so she did and she's killing it haha. And last we have my boy Bobby. He was a referral from our Bishop's wife and is just so prepared to live the restored gospel!

I just wanted to share an experience we had this week while we were out teaching. We planned to go and visit an In-active member but she wasn't home but her sister ended up being there so we just sat with her. Her name is Rebecca and she knows a lot about the church but has never been baptized. We felt impressed to read the Book Of Mormon with her so we opened up to 3 Nephi 11 and read the account of Jesus Christ visiting the Nephites. As we read our hearts and minds were overcome with the Spirit. We were able to help Rebecca understand what she was feeling because she had no idea. It was so powerful and Rebecca was very touched and said she wanted a Book of Mormon so she could continue reading. What I took away from this lesson was the importance of focusing on Christ. We had no lesson plan but just talked about Christ and how he loves us.  I testify that Christ lives and he loves us and as we focus on Him, his spirit will heal our hearts and help us to feel joy.

I am on the countdown to coming home. I am now under 20 days!! So I'm excited to see all of you in the coming weeks! Love you all so much
