Hey everyone,
It's been a while but things have been going really well here in Chocolate City!
A few important things that happened President Thomas moved transfers up a week because the MTC is sending the missionaries to their missions a week ahead of schedule. So on Friday we got surprise transfer news!! My new companion is Elder Ncube from Zimbabwe, I'm super hyped because he was staying in my apartment last transfer and he's a stud plus he loves country music!!
We had a few baptisms last transfer and they were all really awesome! I'm happy for the people who got Baptized. Sadly, on Saturday we were not able to attend our own baptism because right before we left I got sick and was throwing up everywhere and that day just sucked haha! But my companion helped me so much that day and luckily now I'm much better.
Something exciting that's happening right now is we have 3 couples that we are teaching who are really interested in the restored gospel and are progressing quite well! Boima and Getrude, David and Yassa, and Sharp and Oretha. We're doing our best to help them become friends with members and it's really paying off!
Well that's all I have to share for this month haha. I really enjoyed Elder Joemende. He was such a humble and Christ- like person. He taught me a lot of lessons that I hope I can apply in my own life.
Anyway I probably won't write again until after Christmas so I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and happy new year!! Love ya'll so much!
