Hey everyone,
I apologize for not writing for a few weeks but we've been busy and having fun the last few p days.
Anyway, things have been going great! I don't think I ever told you guys but I have a new companion named Elder Edeh. He is from Nigeria and I've been enjoying him. He goes home in January so he's been sharing some of the things he's learned with me throughout his mission and I've really enjoyed being able to listen and learn from him.
We've had a few baptisms. Probably one of the happiest days of my life was Saturday. Jessica and mulbah were able to get married and baptized!! I've been working with this couple since I got to this area in May, and the stars finally aligned and they were able to join the church. I'm grateful that the Lord blessed me to be a part of their conversion to his son Jesus Christ. I know that as we keep our focus on the Savior and push forward we can overcome and challenge. I will never forget Jessica and Mulbah!
The Lord is truly hastening His work. So many people are seeking the true and restored gospel and I'm so grateful that I've been given a chance to participate in gathering Israel in Liberia. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I've started reading it again and I've kept my focus on seeing the Savior on every page and I cannot count how many yellow marks I've made. I know that this is His church and that he guides it today through a living prophet.
I hope everyone is doing well back home. I'd love to hear from you so feel free to send an email!! Love ya
Elder Hiatt
