Weekly

Hey guys,

I hope everyone is doing well! I hope everyone had a great 24th of July and partied hard for me! Haha

For me the last few weeks have been awesome! We had a great zone conference and I talked with president Thomas for a few minutes and I got to have an interview with him on Thursday so I'm super excited for that.

Something that I've really come to enjoy in this area is the opportunity to do baptism interviews for the missionaries in my district. I love being able to talk with these wonderful people about how the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed their life and it has really strengthened my own testimony to see the change it brings. Also, a few members from our ward were able to travel to Accra Ghana and attend the temple. One of them was brother George and I cannot believe how much it changed him. Before he was kind of a rough guy, liked to yell and never really seemed to be happy. But as soon as he got back he was just brighter and more full of love. I know it's the covenants that he made with Heavenly Father that have changed him. And I know that same change is possible for all of us too as we make and keep covenants.

This coming Saturday we are planning to have a marriage ceremony for Melvin and Martha. We have been teaching them for a while and now they are finally prepared to get married and baptized. Their whole family will be members of the church and it makes me so happy. So hopefully all will go well and everything will work out!

That's all for me so I hope you guys have an awesome week!
