Hey guys!

It's been an awesome few weeks here in Liberia. A few cool things that have happened are I got a new companion, I'm reunited with my trainer, and it rained for 48 hrs straight so that was cool!

My new companions name is Elder Tshionyi and he is from democratic Republic of congo(DRC) and i've really enjoyed him this first week. He's very humble and kind and I hope that we can continue to work together without any problems! Also Elder Yemoh who trained me in kakata is now living in my apartment so it's great to catch up with him and see how he has grown these last few months! 

I woke up on Saturday morning and it was raining. It rained all day and through the night. When I got up on Sunday it was still raining and it continued throughout the day until that night it finally stopped. I have never seen that much rain before it was crazy, and it wasn't soft rain either. It rained hard I would say we probably had around 3-4 inches of rain. And sadly a lot of homes got flooded and it caused a lot of damage but it is the rainy season so it is what it is! 

I met Sister Thomas for a few minutes the other day and she is such a sweet lady! I'm excited to meet president Thomas this week at zone conference!!  

Our buddies Mark and Robert got baptized and it was a great service. Those two have strong testimonies of the restored gospel. I am grateful that I was able to get to watch them learn and accept the gospel! 

I have officially been ony mission for 1 year now!! I cannot believe it but time flies when you're having fun!
