Tuesday- We had zone conference today which was exciting! We learned a lot of good stuff and were excited to see if it will help our area! President Price is such a STUD!! Some people have the ability to teach with the spirit and that man is one of them!! 

 

 

Wednesday- We had good lessons today! Not much else to report on. 

 

 

Thursday- We had district council today and since I'm the new District President I was asked to make the agenda and conduct so that was fun haha! After that we had some good lessons! We took Elder Houston to meet the Carter's today! They fed us casava leaf soup mixed with palm butter and it was delicious!! Elder Houston found out that he is not a fan of chicken feet haha!!!! I told him just wait, eventually they won't taste too bad! 

 

 

Friday- Today was a GREAT DAY!! Joseph and Solomon Kennedy expressed their desire to be baptized which was amazing to hear! But my favorite part of today was we were able to have President Mulbah and President Duncan from the Relief Society come with us to visit Andrew and Tenneh! We were able to discuss marriage and they both seemed very happy!! The spirit was so strong as we were testifying of the power of families and their importance in Heavenly Fathers plan. I think soon we will be able to have Andrew and Tenneh get married so we can baptise them!!! Ahhhhhh man I was so happy when we heard they wanted to be married and baptized!! It's amazing to see people's testimonies grow. There's no greater feeling than when someone you're teaching says "I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true Church'' It just goes to show that Heavenly Father is in charge and he's leading his missionaries to those who are ready to hear the restored Gospel!

 

 

Saturday- Well we had a pretty good day today! Two of our investigators said they wanted to be baptized which was awesome to hear! I'm really enjoying Elder Houston. It's fun to serve with an American companion. We have so many Americans coming to this mission so I think it's going to become more and more common to see two "Chinese men" walking around Liberia!! Haha.

 

 

Sunday- Well today we had President and Sister Price attend sacrament at our branch so it was fun to see them! We had a good crowd at sacrament and the testimonies were great! A brand new family just randomly attended church so we had them show us the way to their house. We're very excited to hopefully teach them! One thing I live to do here is help people draw water!! Some of the Wells here are DEEP!! So we always enjoy it when people let us help them draw water!! It's hard to think this week is already over!! It FLEW BY!! It was a good week though! Love you guys!

 

 

Elder Hiatt
