Pizza Baby!!

Hey everyone!!

 

 

I hope that you all had a great week!! For me and Elder Houston we had a fun week.

We taught lots of lessons and had some fun experiences!!

 

 

This week I was studying about the Restoration. I've realized that my understanding of the Restoration was not very good before my mission. Of course I knew about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. But the more I teach others about it I'm coming to understand how important it is. I couldn't imagine living in the Great Apostasy in complete spiritual darkness. It would be terrible! I'm so grateful that the Lord restored his true Gospel and his priesthood back to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I'm also grateful for the Restoration of temples and of special ordinances. I testify that the true Gospel is on the earth today and that we have the ability to perform all of the life saving ordinances through the power of the priesthood! It states in Preach my Gospel, "the message of the Restoration is either true or it is not" I know that through study and sincere prayer we can come to know the truth for ourselves. This Gospel is AMAZING!!!

 

 

We made pizza this week and it was so good!! With four Americans we eat pretty dang good for being in Liberia!! Haha Elder Shakespear and Parker's AC went out in their apartment so they have been sleeping on our floor for the past few nights!! Haha it's been a blast! 

 

 

I just wanted to share a little scripture though this week. In Alma 26:37 it states, 

 

 

"Now my brethren we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth." 

 

 

I know that Heavenly Father loves everyone. I also testify that he is merciful and forgiving, all he asks is for us to come unto him and he will heal us. I love you guys and miss you!
