Transfers And TRAINING??
Tuesday- We had our last District Council of this transfer so that's kinda sad!! We taught a few lessons and we had to run to the market so Elder Yemoh could get his show fixed! Elder Morrsion bought a basketball for us for us to use at the Bong Mine Chapel so im excited for the P day that we get to go play some basketball!!
Wednesday- Our first lesson today was with a new investigator named Mawatta! This lesson went well do we will continue to work with her! During one of our afternoon lessons it started to rain and it just kept raining and raining and raining haha! We had to sit at this persons house for like an hour and a half!! It was ridiculous! That night I got a call from President Price. He informed me that I would be training next transfer. So that means PRAY FOR ME HAHA! Jk it will all be fine!
Thursday- We had a great day today FULL of lessons. But all the lessons we had today were SO GOOD and the spirit was strong. My favorite lesson was with Teneh. Teneh is Andrews girlfriend. She came to church with Andrew on Sunday and it was so cool! We were able to teach her about the Restoration and Joseph Smith!! She really like our message so hopefully she'll progress like Andrew!! Our last lesson of the day was with a man named Froma. We taught him right on the side of a highway at his shop where he sells gas! The sun had gone down so motorcycles and cars were zooming by with their lights honking their horns. But still the spirit was present and we were all able to focus. This taught me that the message of the restored gospel will be heard not matter what. President Nelson said that the gathering of Israel is the most important thing happening on the earth. And that lesson with Froma helped confirm that truth to me.
Friday- We started out our day by teaching a lesson with a new friend named Henry. Henry is kinda weird but the lesson was okay haha! After that we went to the branch council meeting. Man those things are NOT fun haha! But we were able to talk about some stuff that might help us as we continue to gather Israel here in Kakata! We then went with Elder Shakepear and Elder Mukonda to their area so Elder Yemoh could do a baptism interview. We taught a few more lessons and I also found out I will be a district leader this next transfer so that'll be a good time!
Saturday- Today we had baptisms. Esther was able to get baptized today it was awesome to see! She also bore a beautiful testimony afterwards so it was a great morning! After that the morrsions had us over for grilled cheese sandwiches! I realized today that cheese is something that I actually miss haha! We then had a branch YSA activity today that we went to. We also taught a lesson today with Joanne Gardner! I finished out the day by washing some clothes!
Sunday- Elder Yemoh and Elder Mukonda are both getting transfered so they both bore their testimonies in sacrament today! I'm really bummed Elder Yemoh and Elder Mukonda are a lot of fun and I'll miss the heck out of them! We taught a few lessons and then had dinner at Sister Bondos! Elder Yemoh is really bummed that he won't get to eat at Sister Bondos anymore haha!
This week was a good week!! I cant believe that my training is already over. This has been the fastest but slowest 3 months of my life! I've learned a lot and I'm grateful I was able able make it through my training! I'll be getting a brand new Missionary to train next week sometime so I'll send pics of us when he gets here! I love you guys and miss you like crazy!!
