Hey everyone!!
What a crazy week!! I'll start with a recap of the MTC. I loved the MTC, such a spiritual place and I'm grateful I was able to go! We left the MTC for the airport at 430 in the morning on Wednesday! When we got to the airport I tried checking in to get my boarding pass and the lady who was helping me said my flights had been cancelled!!! So she had to call the Missionary travel office and get me a whole new flight plan! And because of this I had to fly alone which was super scary to me! So I flew from Salt Lake to Minneapolis and that flight wasn't too bad. I was able to find some friends from basketball that were on the same flight so I talked to them! When we landed in Minneapolis I was sitting by a little girl and as soon as the plane hit the ground she threw up!! It was kinda gross but none of it landed on me so I was fine! Haha I had a short layover in Minneapolis. From Minneapolis I flew to Paris and this was the part that really scared me!! Luckily I was able to get on the right plane and made it to Paris!! Sadly I wasn't able to see the Eiffel tower because it was so foggy! When I got to Paris I had no clue where to go and which gate I needed to get to and the Paris airport is HUGE!! But luckily some people helped me then I when I was really lost I said a prayer and right as I said amen I looked up and all the missionaries that were in my original travel group were coming down the escalator!! I am so thankful that Heavenly Father answered my prayer and helped me get where I was supposed to go! We had a short stop in Barako then we flew to Liberia. My first few days in Liberia have been tough, to start it's extremely poor. President Price said that Liberia is one of the 5 poorest countries on the planet and I believe it!! But the people are so kind and they are always smiling and laughing!! My trainer's name is Elder Yemoh. He is from Ghana and I love him! He is helping me so much! Anyway I made it to Liberia and it's going well! But it is hard to adjust and understand the people, but that will come with time! I love all of you and I hope you are doing well!
